SMS Terms
Version: 2026-10-20
These terms explain the text messages sent through Kashela, the booking and point-of-sale software provided by Kashela LLC ("Kashela"). They apply to clients of businesses that use Kashela, to business owners and staff who use Kashela, and to people who ask Kashela to contact them.
1. Programs
- Appointment alerts ("[Business name] appointment alerts, powered by Kashela"): booking confirmations, reminders, and notices when an appointment is changed or cancelled, sent on behalf of the business you booked with.
- Promotional messages: offers or invitations to come back, sent only if you separately agreed to receive marketing messages from that business.
- Kashela account and sales messages: sign-in codes, account notices, and follow-ups to a demo or contact request you submitted on kashela.com.
2. How you opt in
You opt in by giving your mobile number and checking the consent box when you book online, check in, sign up for an account, or request a demo, or by telling the business directly. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
3. Message frequency
Appointment alerts are usually 1 to 3 messages per appointment. Promotional messages vary, typically no more than 4 per month per business. Account messages are sent as needed.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Kashela and the business do not charge you for text messages.
5. Opt out and help
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that program. You will get one final message confirming you are unsubscribed.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@kashela.com.
- To start again, reply START or opt in again when you book.
6. Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and coverage.
7. Privacy
Your mobile number and consent are used only to send the messages described above. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Businesses using Kashela
Businesses may only text clients who have agreed to receive messages, must honor STOP and HELP, must get separate consent for marketing, and must follow the TCPA, CAN-SPAM and carrier 10DLC rules. Kashela may pause messaging for any account that violates these rules.
