Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kashela LLC ("Kashela", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit kashela.com or use the Kashela business management software (the "Service").
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers (a) visitors to our website, (b) business owners and staff who use the Service ("Businesses"), and (c) clients of those Businesses whose information a Business enters into the Service. For client information, the Business decides what is collected and why; Kashela processes it on the Business's behalf.
2. Information we collect
- Website forms: business name, owner name, business type, phone, email, city, state, number of staff, whether you have a card terminal, preferred language, and the page or campaign that referred you.
- Business account data: business details, staff names and logins, services, prices, schedules, tickets, payroll settings and reports.
- Client data entered by Businesses: name, phone, email, appointment history, reward points and preferences.
- Payment results: amount, tip, transaction ID, card brand and the last four digits of the card.
- Technical data: a one-way hash of your IP address for spam prevention, device and browser type, and error logs that do not contain form contents or card data.
3. Card data
Kashela uses a semi-integrated payment setup. Full card numbers, security codes and chip or magnetic-stripe data are read by the card terminal and sent directly to the payment processor. Kashela never receives, stores or logs full card numbers or security codes. Card processing is governed by the Business's agreement with its payment processor.
4. How we use information
- To provide, maintain and support the Service, including appointment reminders and messages a Business chooses to send.
- To respond to trial requests and questions sent through our website.
- To bill Businesses for the Service.
- To protect the Service against spam, fraud and abuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Business client data for our own marketing.
5. Text messages and email
Businesses may send appointment confirmations, reminders and other messages to their clients through the Service. Clients can reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile opt-in data is not shared with third parties for marketing.
6. Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting (Cloudflare), payment processing, subscription billing, and text and email delivery. These providers may use the information only to perform services for us.
7. Data security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit. Access is limited by role, and administrative access to Business data is logged. We keep Business data while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward so the Business can export it, unless the Business asks us to delete it sooner or the law requires otherwise.
8. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete information we hold about you by emailing privacy@kashela.com. If you are a client of a Business, we may refer your request to that Business.
9. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above.
