Frequently asked questions

My card terminal is from another payment company. Will it work?

In most cases, yes. Send us your payment company and terminal model and we will confirm the same day.

Does Kashela store my clients' card numbers?

No. Card numbers and security codes stay in the card terminal and the payment processor. Kashela only receives the amount, tip, transaction ID and last 4 digits for the receipt.

Do I need to buy new equipment?

No. Kashela runs in the browser on the computers, tablets and phones you already have. A check-in tablet is optional.

What kind of business is Kashela for?

Kashela fits businesses that run on appointments and charge by service, such as nail salons, hair salons, spas and massage studios. We are expanding to more industries.

Can you move my client list from my old software?

Yes. Send your client list (Excel or CSV) and we import it for free before you go live.

What if the internet goes down?

Your card terminal keeps taking cards. When you are back online, enter the tickets. Kashela runs on Cloudflare, so the system itself rarely goes down.

Is there a cancellation fee?
